Deputy Manager

Hi, My name is Louise and I am the Deputy manager at Marleigh. I have been in childcare for ten years now and I have a beautiful baby boy called Arlo. I have been with Monkey Puzzle Cambridge for 4 years now. I have experience in other nurseries and as a nanny also over the last 10 years. I started off as a deputy room leader for Monkey puzzle and I am now the deputy manager at the Marleigh setting.

I recently became a finalist as "UK's top practitioner 2022" at the Nursery World Awards which I am so proud of and have Monkey Puzzle and their support to thank for that amazing opportunity.

As a mum myself, I ensure that the nursery runs to the highest of standards so that all children benefit from the same level of care as I would expect for my own. I want the nursery to feel like a second home to the children, where they feel comfortable, safe and secure, whilst benefiting from a stimulating learning environment. I am especially interested in outdoor learning, school readiness and supporting children's awe and wonder. My next step is to specialise in a SEN role which is a huge passion of mine.
