How To Find Monkey Puzzle Marleigh
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Marleigh, is proudly located in the heart of Cambridge in the CB5 postal sector. The nursery is in Jubilee Square, just off Marleigh Avenue and behind the Newmarket Road Park & Ride. As well as the park and ride being a short walk away, the A1303 and A14 are just a quick drive away too. This makes us well located for serving families in the city of Cambridge.
Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
❤️🌹Valentine's Day - Parent Event 🌹❤️
We celebrated Valentine's Day with a family event at the setting. The children and their families crafted their own friendship potions, shaped hearts and family faces from play dough, explored a red-themed sand tray, and honed their filling and emptying skills using an oat tray. During the event, the children busily prepared an array of cakes and coffees with the oats for their families who joined us. 💗
While this was all happening, we had songs play in the theme of valentines and some of the children had a mini dance party. 💓

🥞Pancake Day 🥞
In celebration of Pancake Day, the preschool room prepared their own pancakes and selected their favourite toppings before handing the batter to the chef, who kindly cooked the pancakes for the children.🧑🍳
Meanwhile, the toddler room sliced up their own fruits to use on their pancakes during snack time, enjoying these as pudding after lunch. The baby room participated in a pancake-making activity using play dough. 🍓🫐
In the preschool’s kitchen play area, the children engaged in role play, enthusiastically flipping numerous pretend pancakes and sharing them with their friends. 🥰

🌹 Mark Making - Valentine's Cards 🌹
This week, all three classrooms have been hard at work crafting beautiful artwork to send home for Valentine's Day, while also practising their fine motor and imaginative skills. 💖
The baby room created their artwork using flowers and glitter, the toddler room explored sponges, cookie cutters, and brushes, and the preschool room used paints, pens, scissors, and tissue paper for their creations. 🎨
Each card is unique and beautifully made, reflecting the children’s individual ideas and creativity.💕
