How To Find Monkey Puzzle Marleigh
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Marleigh, is proudly located in the heart of Cambridge in the CB5 postal sector. The nursery is in Jubilee Square, just off Marleigh Avenue and behind the Newmarket Road Park & Ride. As well as the park and ride being a short walk away, the A1303 and A14 are just a quick drive away too. This makes us well located for serving families in the city of Cambridge.
Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
🇮🇪☘️ St Patrick’s Day ☘️ 🇮🇪
On Tuesday, the children learnt about St Patrick’s day. The children looked at the colours of the rainbow and sung the rainbow song during their group time. Preschool looked at some four leaf clovers as well as where Ireland was on the world map. Following this, children drew their own rainbows and pots of gold using pens, chalks and crayons. One child said “my rainbow has all colours” and another says “I like gold coins!”.

🍕Pizza Making Class At Salento's🍕
The preschool room had an amazing opportunity to visit next door at Salento's café to make their very own pizzas. The children were able to roll out their dough using flour, add tomato sauce and sprinkle cheese all over.
The children watched Marco place them in the pizza oven to cook and then Marco put their individual pizzas into takeaway boxes and delivered them to us so the children had a pizza party for tea🎉
Since the visit to Salento's, the children having been role playing pizza making and playing restaurants in the classroom. 🥰

🌤️☔️ Weather ⛅️☔️
As March has begun and Spring is near, our topic of the week has been Weather 🌈
In preschool, children discovered how rain falls from clouds once the droplets become too heavy as well as discussing how the weather is changing 🌧️
They used pipettes to transport food colouring and added shaving foam and water to illustrate different types of weather 🌤️
Toddlers enjoyed cloud writing activities which sparked discussions about the shapes of clouds and their movement. In the afternoon, we took some time to observe real clouds, which enhanced their learning experience 🫧☁️
