How To Find Monkey Puzzle Marleigh
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Marleigh, is proudly located in the heart of Cambridge in the CB5 postal sector. The nursery is in Jubilee Square, just off Marleigh Avenue and behind the Newmarket Road Park & Ride. As well as the park and ride being a short walk away, the A1303 and A14 are just a quick drive away too. This makes us well located for serving families in the city of Cambridge.
Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
🐺🐷Three Little Pigs🐷🐺
The children have explored the classic tale of 'the three little pigs'. The children made lots of different types of houses and farms with various resources such as sticks, blocks, shaving foam and play dough. 🏠🧱
The children have been role playing being the wolf and even had a go at blowing each other away with a hair dryer disguised as a wolf. The preschool and toddler room children are able to sequence the story and fill in the gaps of the repeated phrases. In the baby room, the children have learnt new single words such as 'blow', 'pig', 'wolf' and 'house'. 💨
The children have made lots of pig habitats and have put pig marks through 'muddy' paint. 🐖

🔬 British Science Week 🔬
The children have been engaging in lots of different science experiments to celebrate British Science Week. The children explored making lots of volcanos, watching coloured water travel, experimenting with magic milk and had a go at colour mixing. All three rooms did a float and sink experiment which some children also explored with their families at home following the interest. 💚

♻️ Recycling Week ♻️
The children delved into the subject of 'recycling'. They learned about the detrimental effects of littering on the planet and ways they could contribute positively. To further explore this idea, they sorted recyclable materials into the appropriate bins, engaged in junk modelling, and took their creations home. 🚮🗑️
Additionally, they participated in activities aimed at rescuing animals from oil spills in the ocean and cleaning up litter from the water trays. 🌊🐠
