Nursery Practitioner

Hi, my name is Ellie and I am a nursery practitioner currently working in the baby room. Though I have just recently joined the team at Monkey Puzzle Cambridge, I have been working in childcare for the last two years within a setting in Cambridgeshire after being offered a job within a nursery that I was at for my college placement while studying for my level 3 qualification.

Over the last couple of years I have worked within age groups ranging from 3 months all the way to 5 years and have learnt much from each room, though I have always had a special passion for working with babies! I aim to ensure children within the setting are happy and that they are being stimulated to learn while learning more about the children as individuals each day. It is a privilege to care for the children within the setting and to see them develop and grow over time is such a rewarding feeling. No day is the same and after finishing my level 3 at college I have realised that you never stop learning!

I am a very creative person outside of work and love to incorporate this within the nursery. I love getting messy with play and singing with the children.
