Last week, the children carried on the life cycle topic but have looked at frogs. The children have learnt the life cycle order and the toddlers and preschool can tell us about tadpoles, froglets and then frogs and have an action for each stage. They have also learnt the makaton sign for frog💚

The children have explored lots of lake and swap sensory trays, counted 5 little speckled frogs, made their own frogs and lily pads, made their own life cycles using paper plates and done some lily pad hopping as well as doing some animal yoga.
