Graduation Day has arrived at Monkey Puzzle Marleigh, one of Cambridge’s warmest and most nurturing day nurseries. We started our day celebrating our preschoolers as they prepare to take their next big step and start school in September, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

It was a joyful morning reminiscing about the beginning of each child’s journey here at Monkey Puzzle Marleigh. Many of our graduates first joined us as babies, and each of them received a learning journal filled with observations from those very first days. Turning the pages together was a lovely reminder of just how far every child has come.

The day was filled with heartwarming moments. Certificates were handed out, the children sang their Graduation song, and every graduate received a special gift bag to take home. Afterwards the children joined in with a superhero party while parents enjoyed snacks and shared in the celebration.

A special thank you to Jael, Samuel and Tahera for all of the hard work they do every single day in the preschool room. They are wonderful practitioners, and the confidence our graduates carry with them into school says everything about the care and dedication they give to every child.

Starting school is a big step, and the years before it shape how confidently a child walks into that first classroom. The friendships, routines, independence and early learning built here at Monkey Puzzle Marleigh are what make the move to school feel exciting rather than daunting. It is always bittersweet to say goodbye, but we could not be prouder of each and every one of our graduates. We are sad to see this chapter close and so excited for all that lies ahead.
