Deputy Manager/DSL/SENCo

Hello, my name is Louise and I serve as the Deputy Manager at Marleigh as well as the nursery SENCo. With a decade of experience in childcare, I have a wonderful baby boy named Arlo.

I have been part of Monkey Puzzle Cambridge for five years, having previously worked in various nurseries and as a nanny over the past decade. My journey with Monkey Puzzle began as a Deputy Room Leader, and I now very proudly hold the position of Deputy Manager at Marleigh.

I am thrilled to share that I recently made it to the finals of the "UK's Top Practitioner 2022" at the Nursery World Awards, a recognition that I am incredibly proud of and grateful to Monkey Puzzle for their support in this achievement.

As a mother myself, I ensure that our nursery operates at the highest standards to provide every child with the same level of care I would want for my own. My goal is for the nursery to be a second home for the children, where they feel safe, secure, and comfortable within themselves as individuals in a stimulating learning environment.

I have a keen interest in outdoor learning and a forest school ethos, school readiness, nurturing children's curiosity, and serving as the nursery SENCo, which is a role I am deeply passionate about.
