Nursery Manager

Hello, I'm Karen and I am the Nursery Manager at Marleigh Nursery as well as the nursery ENCO Lead. My adoration for working with children ignited when I started my own wonderful family. I began observing the world from their perspective and witnessing how their personalities and interests evolved with their encounters.

This led me to transition from a career in finance to focus on the Early Years childcare sector. I worked at a preschool and primary school, aiding children with autism and SEND, before assuming the role of Deputy Manager at Monkey Puzzle Cambridge 3 1/2 years ago.

I collaborate with a remarkable team of educators at Marleigh who utilise their expertise and compassion to nurture the children. Our efforts include planning for their progress and growth, organising activities and utilising resources to stimulate their learning with wonder and excitement. Above all, we offer the warmest cuddles when needed.

We take pleasure in involving parents in our nursery community and invite them to our open events, brimming with engaging activities and joyful celebrations.
