How To Find Monkey Puzzle Marleigh
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Marleigh, is proudly located in the heart of Cambridge in the CB5 postal sector. The nursery is in Jubilee Square, just off Marleigh Avenue and behind the Newmarket Road Park & Ride. As well as the park and ride being a short walk away, the A1303 and A14 are just a quick drive away too. This makes us well located for serving families in the city of Cambridge.
Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
🕷🐸Halloween Event - Zoo Lab came to nursery!🐸🕷
To further our Halloween celebrations, we were thrilled to welcome a special visitor from the Zoo Lab. The zoo educator captivated the children with a Halloween rendition of the popular book 'Room on the Broom' and the toddlers and pre-schoolers had the opportunity to observe animals they had never seen before. 🐍
Some of the children even mustered the courage to touch and even hold the different creatures! The children asked lots of questions about the animals and showed lots of interest and curiosity which carried on throughout the next week. 💚

🎃👻Halloween - Parent Event 👻🎃
In celebration of Halloween, we organised a party for the families of the children, featuring a range of delightful spooky activities. 🧙♀️🧟♀️
Parents and carers joined their little ones to create monsters from play dough, search for hidden treasures in Halloween-themed sand, concoct potions inside pumpkins, explore themed dens, rescue bugs from a sticky spider's web, and play with spooky spaghetti. 🕷🕸
As always, our parent event attracted a wonderful turnout. It was heart warming to see so many families come together to engage in play with the children and get their hands quite literally stuck in! 🥰

👮♂️👩🚒People Who Help Us - Round Up 👩🚒👮♂️
The children finished their topic of 'people who help us' with lots of doctor and vet role plays, building sites, pretending to be shop keepers and also explored a librarian role play set up where they asked each other which books they would like to take and read and wrote them down. 👩⚕️📚
The children played police people out in the garden and made up scenarios where people were in trouble and pretended to save them and they also created lots of fire paintings. 👩🚒🔥
The baby room made Tesco set up and one baby pretended to tap a card onto the till. They then did some fruit cutting and pretended to be mini chefs. 🧑🍳🍓🍏
