Harriet
Position:
Nursery Assistant
About Me:
Hello, my name is Harriet. I have just finished my A-levels (psychology, sociology, and health and social care) and I am now starting my apprenticeship at Marleigh. Since being a buddy with one of the reception children when I was in year 6, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of working with young people. I currently work part-time on the weekends at Clip 'n Climb too, and whilst working there, it has allowed me to solidify and identify my passion for working with children.
In my time at Marleigh, I have found that one of the most rewarding aspects of the job is watching the children succeed and build their confidence as they reach new milestones. In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks with my friends or with my music, as well as reading. I have a passion for dance which I started taking classes for when I was 2, as well as I used to perform in pantomimes in Cambridge and Bishops Stortford, so I absolutely love to incorporate a bit of singing and dancing into our days at the nursery any chance I get!
