Nursery Assistant

Hello, my name is Emmie. I am currently based in the baby room. I am very fond of being a part of the Marleigh team and wouldn’t change it for the world. I love being a part of every child’s journey here at Marleigh and creating strong bonds with both child and parents. Watching children reach milestones is a special and important moment and I’m glad I’m a part of it.

When I was younger I helped out looking after my nieces and nephews and still do. I have had experience in childcare before through work experience in 2022. I moved onto getting a degree in art and design in college to getting a placement here at Marleigh to do my Level 3 apprenticeship. When I get the chance to, I incorporate art into activities for the children to help them be creative and express themselves.

In my free time I do sketching or something hands on and listen to music. It really is rewarding watching all these different journeys. I aim to create a warm, nurturing and creative environment at my time here at Marleigh.
